Video shows McDonald's worker headbutt customer in fight over chicken nuggets

A McDonald’s customer has been filmed allegedly head-butting a customer in an early morning brawl sparked by a lack of chicken nuggets.

It’s understood a customer entered the fast food restaurant in the UK town of Liverpool, but became aggressive when he was restricted to the breakfast menu

“The fight broke out because the menu was turning to breakfast and they didn’t have any chicken nuggets," a witness told The Liverpool Echo.

“Instead he wanted bacon but they didn’t have any bacon either.”

Footage taken inside the relatively empty restaurant shows a man and a woman grappling with the lean McDonald’s worker.

Moments after the worker’s hat and glasses are knocked off, he appears to try and headbutt the customer who was throwing a flurry of punches.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said the employee was immediately suspended.

“We take matters like this extremely seriously and can confirm the individual has been suspended.

“An internal investigation is taking place as a matter of urgency.”

It comes just one day after two Western Australian men apologised for their drive-thru brawl outside a Geraldton McDonald’s.

Another customer filmed the fist-fight as it unfolded outside the Geraldton fast food restaurant on Sunday.

The two Geraldton men have since been identified as a 51-year-old from Drummond Cove and a 54-year-old from Mahomets Flats.

Both the men were slapped with $500 fines for disorderly conduct.
