Woman returns home to find her ENTIRE house has been stolen

When leaving the house most homeowners make sure their windows are locked and valuables are left out of sight to minimise the risk of a potential break in.

But one victim of a home invasion couldn't have done anything about a group of robbers' audacious effort to take burglary to a whole new level.

Sonia McColl, 70, from Devon in the UK, was left stunned when she returned home to her 40-foot static caravan on November 23, only to discover it was no longer there.

It's believed the thieves entered a locked yard at the Cullompton estate and loaded the 10-tonne property onto a flat-bed trailer before leaving with her entire home.

Police are desperately searching for anyone with information who may have seen the home being towed in the local area.

“The home would have to had to been taken by a specific low loader trailer that is capable of taking a caravan of this size and by someone that knew what they were doing," PC Marie Gorfin of Devon and Cornwall police said.

“This is a very high value and emotive crime as victim is now homeless and clearly distraught."
