WATCH: Brazen Brisbane shoplifters raid party shop and leave contact details

The manager of a Brisbane party supply shop has used the power of social media to shame three women who stole from her store.

Since uploading the security vision of the brazen theft the footage has since gone viral.

The incident occurred inside a party and costume shop and the women made no attempt to disguise what they were doing.

They can be seen on the footage pointing to items on the shelves, then taking them and stuffing them into bags.

"Absolutely brazen!” the shocked store owner Jodie said of the theft.

“I can hardly have sympathy for them,” she continued.

“It's not food or clothing or essentials that are needed.”

The ladies' free shopping spree then continued for around 10 minutes.

Staff say hundreds of dollars of stock was stolen during the spree.

Unbelievably, when one of the women couldn’t find a specific item they wanted, they asked staff for it.

"One of the ladies approached the counter and asked if we could order something in for her, so we did and we took her details,” Jodie said.

The woman then left her real name, number and cash for the ordered item.

However when she arrived the next day to collect it staff had noticed stock was missing and reviewed the footage, uncovering the theft.

"We gave her an opportunity to pay for the goods, to return the goods and we wouldn't pursue it any further. We gave her the opportunity and she decided not to do that,” Jodie continued.

The store owner then decided to post the security pictures of the theft on social media to shame the offenders and to warn other businesses in the area.

She didn’t expect the massive response however with the video instantly going viral, being viewed over 200,000 times on the store's Facebook account.

"The community has been amazing coming in and supporting us sharing our video around everywhere if anything the silver lining has been how wonderful the community has been,” Jodie concluded.

The incident has been now reported to the Queensland Police.
