Pictured: Evil predator's train ride with children

Photos have shown the disturbing moment one of Victoria’s worst pedophiles was allowed to catch a train with unsuspecting children on board.

Parents expressed outrage after the man, who cannot be named due to a suppression order, was photographed onboard the regional train with a minder in tow.

Incoming senator Derryn Hinch has slammed the decision, saying the public had a right to know what he was doing.

“He’s entitled to go out … he’s entitled to be around. But you are entitled to know he is there. You are entitled to know what he looks like,” Mr Hinch said.

Mr Hinch, who has long campaigned for a national sex offender register to be made public, says more needs to be done to keep the community safe.

Shadow Attorney General John Pesutto described the day trip as “very disturbing”.

“I think Victorians would consider the kind of supervision this person is receiving is not as strong as it should be,” he said.

Mr Hinch said justice for the man’s six young victims, was being disregarded.

“Now where’s the justice for the first victim, the second victim and, I believe, future victims?” he said.

“He lost all his civil rights when he first started attacking children.”
