Man accused of stalking estranged wife and uploading nude pictures of her online
A Queensland man has been accused of uploading nude and sexual photos of his estranged wife online.
According to the Gladstone Observer it is alleged the man created a Tumblr account last month under his wife's details where he uploaded the images.
The woman told authorities that her husband was the only one who had the pictures.
It is also alleged the man from Gladstone stalked the woman at work.
The 39-year-old man tried to get into her workplace but was stopped by her boss and that he was seen in a parked car when security was escorting his wife to her car.
The man is also accused of sending abusive messages to the woman on Facebook in May.
But the accused denied the series of allegations.
The Gladstone Observer claims his defence lawyer said he had been blocked by his wife on Facebook.
It also states that the accused was suffering depression.
Police opposed bail as the man had 10 convictions for breaches against Domestic Violence Orders, but is reportedly in custody charged with three new counts of contravening the DVOs.
"In April he was convicted of four counts of breaching DVO's and given eight months jail, wholly suspended," Prosecutor Sgt Barry Stevens said.
The 39-year-old is alleged to have reoffended after being put on probation.
"It is also disturbing the way he is stalking her. Police have little confidence that he will not commit further offences," Sgt Stevens reportedly told the court.
The application for bail, where the man reportedly said he would not have contact with his wife and would not live in Gladstone, was refused.
The case has been adjourned until the end of this month.
