Her date suggested coffee as he wasn't drinking alcohol at the time.

Crouch describes the initial meeting as ‘normal’.

After arriving home she started to receive a barrage of text messages from the man asking her to his home for dinner.

When Lauren politely refused the invitation, citing a lack of chemistry she was issued a refund demand for the £3.50 coffee.

The scorned date then followed up by texting her his banking details asking her to pay him back for his coffee as he didn't like 'wasting' money.

Crouch described text message as the most alarming she has ever received.

She stood her ground refusing to give him the refund offering instead to donate the amount to a charity of his choice.

The story of the scorned Tinder date how now since gone viral.
