Boy's adorable meltdown meeting garbagemen heroes

It's one of the sweetest viral photographs, but one that may come back to haunt Quincy, 2, later in life.

"This is one of the shots to use in his wedding rehearsal slideshow in 20 years," one Facebook user wrote after Quincy's father Ollie Kroner posted the picture a week ago.

"I feel overwhelmed with emotion just looking at him! That is one of the sweetest pictures I've seen!!" another Facebook user posted.

"You do have very photogenic garbage men. And a super cute kid. Love it so much."

The snap has already been seen by around a million people around the world.

"Quincy's been waiting all week to show the garbage men his garbage truck. But, in the moment, he was overwhelmed in the presence of his heroes," Ollie wrote on the original post.

The visit by Cincinnati garbage workers, Eddie Washington and Mark Davis, was apparently organised as a reward for Quincy who had successfully completed potty training.

“Every Friday he knows they’re coming,” Ollie told ABC News. “From the moment he hears them from blocks away he runs to the window, climbs up on the couch and watches them.”

Quincy's father said they have developed a kind of relationship through the window.

A spokesperson for the Cincinnati Public Services told Daily Mail Online that the two men were part of a 'new generation' of Public Works staff.

"[They] understand that their work is essential for the quality of life of our citizens.'

Whilst another local parent posted: "Those guys are the best. They wave and honk at Ardea every time."
