Linfield has chance to restart his career

Bunbury tyro Bradley Linfield will reboot his cycling career with Navitas Satalyst Racing after signing with the WA-based team for 2015.

The 20-year-old had been offered a third year riding for the Jayco-AIS World Tour Academy - the feeder outfit for Australia's top team Orica GreenEDGE.

However, a long-running battle with tonsillitis and illness that led to Linfield returning home from Europe last year and questioning his level of commitment has prompted the move.

The signing reunites a rider consistently touted as one of Australia's best prospects with former teammates from his time as a junior.

"I had a bit of a rough year," Linfield said. "When I first came back I just completely wanted to get off my bike for a couple of months to get better and then see where I was going to go.

"I wanted to be in a really fun environment and do some good-level racing with a good group of guys and this team can give me that."
