Woman slammed for 'disrespectful' pose with Pauline Hanson

How do you divide social media?

You take a photo with Pauline Hanson and you pull a sneaky ‘side smile’, that’s how.

Courtney Griffin met and posed with Pauline yesterday in a Perth shopping mall and did just that, sending social media into a self imposed meltdown.

The jewellery store worker was clearly less than impressed when she had the chance run-in with the One Nation leader.

As part of the post Griffin wrote, “My whinge - I saw Pauline Hanson today and I wanted to throw an egg at her chin but my boss wouldn't let me”.

“I had to improvise and this is the result.”

Social media users were divided, with some Facebook posts condemning Griffin for being disrespectful towards the politician.

Some also mused that Griffin deserved the sack for her conduct.

One Facebook message said regardless of Senator Hanson's views, the shop assistant was "rude and disrespectful".

"Shame on this girl," she wrote.

Other supported Griffin's visible disgust with the controversial politician.

Either way, on March 11 West Australians are heading to the polls to decide their own fate.

According to a Reach-TEL poll released this week, One Nation has an 11 per cent primary vote support in the state.
