Fire at Qld railway station

Five fire crews have been called to a blaze, causing a large volume of smoke, at a railway station on Brisbane's bayside.

A Queensland Rail spokesman said the fire began in a rubbish bin but the building is not on fire.

Firefighters were called to the Cleveland railway station on Shore Street on Tuesday morning, a Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) spokesperson said.

The QFES said there were large volumes of smoke in the area and officers were using a high pressure hose.

Police said there were no reports of injuries.
