Bieber gives injured Vic fan private show

A Melbourne fan who missed Justin Bieber's concert because of a shocking car accident has been given the surprise of her life - meeting the pop megastar during a personal and intimate performance.

Kate O'Neill, 19, had saved thousands of dollars to be able to attend all of Justin Bieber's Australian shows when she was seriously injured in a car crash.

She thought her dreams of meeting the Canadian teen idol were shattered, blissfully unaware of the surprise that lay ahead.

On Wednesday afternoon, a car transferred Ms O'Neill from hospital to a private studio where Bieber performed an impromptu acoustic set for her and 50 other fans.

“I didn’t expect to see him perform at all, so when I found out he was going to be performing I was just lost," she said. "I started crying. It was crazy."

Bieber even asked Ms O'Neill to kiss him on the cheek.

“He was a metre away from me...I couldn’t believe it," she said, choking back tears of delight. "He was a real person sitting in front of me.

“It was crazy to have him sing to me and to be so close."

The surprise gig came after friends took to Twitter to encourage the star to visit Ms O'Neill, who remains in hospital recovering from her injuries, which include broken ribs, a fractured spine, internal bleeding and lacerations to her kidney and liver. After his performance, Bieber said he loved his "Beliebers" who do so much for him."It was so special to be able to give something back, especially to an amazing fan like Kate," Bieber said.
