Car rams into home during State of Origin
A Hervey Bay family has suffered a rude shock while watching the State of Origin decider at their home on Wednesday night.
Police attended the scene after a man drove his car into the front of a Pialba home.
The 34-year-old has been charged with with one count of dangerous operations of a vehicle, driving without a licence and driving under the influence of alcohol.
He will face court Hervey Bay Magistrates Court today.
The mother, father and a nine-month-old baby were in the front room and received minor injuries, before being taken to Hervey Bay Hospital.
