Meet Sydney's newest millionaire's rows

Entire Sydney streets have become the newest millionaire rows as house prices soar into seven figures.

And while some are in suburbs you’d expect, there are those who have surprisingly joined the list.

It’s where you’ll find the Krazy Chix chicken shop, the Glamour Spot and in more recent years, million dollar price tags.

Malabar’s Prince Edward St has properties breaking the suburb record with a home recently selling for $2.9m.

And it’s not just what’s out the front that’s bumping up the price, it’s the back too… with Randwick Golf Course and the beautiful water from Long Bay.

The home owners on Prince Edward strip must be feeling like royalty after onthehouse recently valued every property at more than a million dollars.

The valuation made the street Sydney’s latest millionaire row.

Onthehouse Market Analyst Eliza Owen said the large blocks of land, established properties and close access to arterial roads made it prime property for big spenders.

“Around here size isn’t everything, especially when it delivers an outlook like this that’s helped make this not just one of Sydney’s top stretches of million dollar plus real estate but among the top ten in Australia.”

Also joining the list is Cronulla’s Nicholson Parade with four homes going over the mark on a particular bend alone.

“It’s a waterside street, it is established,” Ms Owen said.

“The blocks of land were larger when they were being built and there's a lot of value in land in Sydney at the moment

“No matter where you are in Sydney you could be sitting on a million dollar house.”

Cronulla, Burwood, Strathfield , Epping and Eastwood are all places you can find high value properties

Deepwater Rd, Castle Cove, Paddington's Glenmore Rd, Edinburgh Rd Castlecrag, Raglan St at Mosman and Military Rd in Dover Heights make up the top five Millionaire rows.

But they’re more like multi-millionaire rows – with ocean views one side and city views another, with sights and soaring ceilings.

“The million dollar properties tend to be concentrated on streets that are by the water, the houses tend to be quite large,” Ms Owen said

“They tend to be established properties that were constructed between 100 and up to 20 years ago”.

“Military Road in Dover heights is a very peaceful and a very beautiful street.”

“It's always going to be representative of the lifestyle on those streets people are willing to pay good money for that.”
