Desperate search for missing Melbourne baby

Police are asking for public help to find a missing three-month-old girl in Melbourne.

Mia Garang was last seen with her mother Abuk Garang, 27, at a house in Sunshine West on Wednesday.

Victorian Police said they were concerned for Mia’s welfare and urged anyone who knew their whereabouts to contact Sunshine Police Station.

Also missing from the same suburb are teenage girls Rachael and Meleane Fangaake.

Officers have been told 16-year-old Meleane and 14-year-old Rachel were last seen on Lachlan Road, Sunshine West on Thursday.

The girls have not returned to their Warmington Road home and the family have concerns for their welfare due to their age and the length of time that they have been missing.

There is no implication that the searches are linked.
