The giant croc was so large it required eight people to haul the beast onto a trailer for transportation.

The croc is currently at a holding facility and will be relocated to a farm or zoo.
According to the Townsville Bulletin it is unclear if the monster reptile is “Wally".
"Wally" is a large croc known to local authorities who has managed to evade capture for more than 12 months.
According to online reports he first was sighted by rangers in the Ross River in January, 2015.
One police officer told the Townsville Bulletin it wasn’t a situation he had trained for at the academy.
“It’s not a normal part of the job,” she said.
“We’ve never had a callout like this.

“We were thinking about what to put in our report, he was very snappy in our dealings with him.”
Another local resident told the Bulletin that he had heard about the crocodile on Facebook and came down to see it for himself.
“I have seen crocodiles in the wild before but not like this,” he said.
“It’s a bit sad to see it go.”
