Inquiry into rowdy party

A Hazelmere mother is under investigation for allowing her 16-year-old son to host an out-of-control party at a State-owned house.

Foundation Housing, which leases the Robertson Street property from the Government and charges subsidised rent, yesterday interviewed the mother's neighbours after the 200-strong party on Saturday night resulted in 16 juveniles being detained for throwing bottles at police cars and property damage.

It was the third big party hosted by the tenant Michelle's son, Martin Fulton, in two months.

FH chief Kathleen Gregory said a "full investigation" would be done.
