Girls, 2 and 6, indecently assaulted at Sydney park

A search is underway after a man allegedly lured two young girls into a Sydney toilet block and indecently assaulted them.

Police say the two girls, aged two and six, were approached by the unknown man at a park on Campbell Hill Road at Guildford in the city's west.

The man fled the Campbell Hill Pioneer Reserve around 1.30pm.

Local officers, the dog squad and a police helicopter are searching the park and the surrounding area.

The girls have been treated by paramedics.

The man is described as being of Middle Eastern-Mediterranean appearance, about 165cm tall and with a chubby build.

He was wearing a dark shirt with a black hooded jacket on top and blue shorts with white stripes.
