Masked bandits capsicum spray victim

Two masked bandits used capsicum spray to subdue their victim during a terrifying hold up at a milk bar in Meadow Heights.

Clad in a balaclava and bandana, the duo terrorised staff at the store on Nicholson Street at around 8.45pm last Thursday.

One of the robbers stood watch at the door, while the other confronted the female shop attendant with a knife and demanding cash.

When the 22-year-old staff member produced a baseball bat to defend herself, the robber sprayed both women with capsicum spray.

He emptied the till and fled the scene.

Police have released CCTV images of the men.

The first man is described as being around 177cm tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a light blue jumper, tracksuit pants, a black balaclava and was carrying a black sports bag.

The second man is Caucasian, aged in his early 20s and around 173cm tall with an average build.

He was wearing a striped hooded top, a black beanie and a had a yellow bandana covering his face.
