Police have said that Isabela's death was accidental.

She had been with her parents in a barbecue area in the park when the tree suddenly fell on her.

The falling tree also injured an unnamed 27-year-old woman who was in the park with her boyfriend.

She was taken to hospital with injuries to her back and legs and is set to undergo surgery.

An unnamed lawyer representing the family told local media that he is assisting them. Experts are determining whether the tree fell as a result of any negligence.

The local council announced it would be shutting all public parks in the area "for an indefinite period" to determine if recent heavy rain posed an increased risk of falling trees.
