Dog stomped on and held up by its lead on UK train
Police are desperately hunting for a commuter who violently held up a dog by the lead and swung it against the wall of a train.
The disgusting case of animal cruelty occurred on a UK train service on October 10.
The Staffordshire bull terrier was so terrified it defecated on the train seat.
“This was an unbelievably shocking act of cruelty,” said investigating officer Sergeant Paul Thompson.
The man could also be seen stomping on the dogs face as he reclined back in his seat.
When staff discovered the feces in the carriage, the train was cancelled but it was not until they reviewed the CCTV footage, they discovered the brutal mistreatment of the dog.
“No animal should ever be subjected to such punishment and I am determined to trace the man responsible,” Sergeant Thompson added.
“Clearly this animal was frightened for its life as he emptied his bowls on the seat and train carriage.”
