Husband’s hilarious response to wife’s list on ‘how to Dad’ while away for two days
A new dad was left a page of specific instructions on how to care for his three-month-old baby while his wife is out of town for two nights, and his response is Dad joke, level: expert.
The man, known only as Jacob – or King Jacob, rather – scribbled all over the note with witty and sarcastic remarks, joking he no longer needed to feed the goldfish as it was already dead.
Not one instruction was left unaltered and he even edited his wife’s grammar.
The list, shared to Imgur, has been viewed more than 750,000 times.
When instructed how to change the baby’s nappy, Jacob noted “So do I take the diaper back off?”
Rather than dressing their son in a “warm onesie with feet,” he decides he would wear “whatever he looks awesome in”.
He joked he would send the toddler to his grandparents’ place with an XBoxOne rather than his play mat, and says he will teach him how to play Nintendo.

Following the to-do list for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Jake makes his own agenda for Friday, including: recovering from being a single parent, playing video game Fallout 4, seeking “appreciation and praise from the wife”, sleeping and watching animated TV series Dragon Ball Z.
He also crated a list of FAQs his wife did not address, including: “When do I eat?” “Where is the dog?” and “What if I don't make it?”
It is not known however, whether the father, the baby, the dog and the goldfish survived the two nights of sole parenting with so many questions in the air, and if he got to recover on Friday watching Dragonball Z.
