Woman's body 'found in wheelie bin' outside hospital
The body of a woman has reportedly been discovered in a wheelie bin.
The woman was found outside of Newman Hospital, in Western Australia’s rural north, on Wednesday morning, according to The North West Telegraph.
Western Australia police have confirmed they are investigating the death of a woman in Newman, but wouldn’t provide further details.
They said officers were called to the hospital about 4am (local time).
It was initially reported the woman was pregnant, but that has now been found to be incorrect, according to The West Australian.
It is understood a man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and family violence may be involved, The North West Telegraph reported.
The sale of takeaway alcohol has been halted in the town for the remainder of the day, according to the ABC.
