Woman throws Eftpos machine in violent outburst at KFC

A woman has been charged after footage surfaced of a KFC customer appearing to scream at employees and throw an EFTPOS machine in Adelaide.

In the the video, shared to Instagram Friday night, a woman can be seen ripping EFTPOS machines from the counter and throwing them at staff and monitors, while yelling abuse.

Among the woman’s outbursts, she shouted at employees: “You don’t have anything else!” while items can be heard crashing behind the counter.

“You’re holding us hostage,” the woman accused staff.

“Are you retarded?… Are you actually retarded in the f***ing head?” she asked during the outburst, while smashing a mobile phone to the ground in the process.

About 36,000 people viewed the clip overnight.

Police were called to a fast-food outlet in Hindley Street just after 9.30pm on Friday, following reports of a woman causing a disturbance and damaging property, South Australia police confirmed to Yahoo7.

“On arrival, police quickly arrested a woman, after she allegedly spat at the patrol officers,” a police spokesperson said.

A 20-year-old Magill woman has been charged with disorderly behaviour and property damage after she allegedly assaulted staff at the outlet. She was also charged with two counts of aggravated assaulting police.

The woman has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
