Woman shocked as fellow passenger takes his pants off on plane

Long-haul international flights can be a challenging experience at the best of times – but spare a thought for one woman who spent an 11-hour flight next to a man who preferred to fly in his underwear.

Lizzie Thompson was flying from Paris to Los Angeles on Monday when the man across the aisle from her went to the bathroom and came back without his pants.

In a hilarious Twitter thread, Ms Thompson detailed the man’s bizarre movements through the duration of the flight.

“The man in the seat across from me has taken HIS PANTS OFF for the flight and is just in his boxers,” she wrote in the first Tweet.

“Flight attendants seem unconcerned. This is going to be a long flight.”

The man then took off his socks, before he noticed a passenger with a ukulele and shouted: “Come sit with me and make some music!”

“Wtf is going on,” Ms Thompson wrote.

Two hours into the Air France flight, the man stood up and took four mini bottles of wine from the flight attendant’s cart.

“He then fell asleep,” Ms Thompson said. “Then six hours in he got cold so PUT ON HIS PUFFY JACKET.”

Ms Thompson said she informed a flight attendant, who offered to move her to a different seat, but they “just shrugged” when she suggested that the man put his pants back on.

Just before the plane landed at LAX – and much to Ms Thompson’s relief – the man redressed in the aisle.

The flight may have been strange, but it wasn’t all bad.

“Nothing bonds a group of passengers like a man half-naked in your section,” Ms Thompson wrote.

“Shout out to the flight attendant who slipped me extra wine and did keep checking in to make sure I was good.”

In 2016, a man was arrested after taking his clothes off and making threats to a number of passengers on a flight from Cancun, Mexico, to Frankfurt, Germany.

In Australia, a woman left fellow bus passengers dumbfounded after she stripped naked on a Sydney bus and began performing a pole dance.

The entire scene was caught on security camera before the woman wrapped herself in a shawl and left the bus.
