Woman who named child Atom Bomb arrested for dealing meth

A woman who gave birth to a son she named ‘Atom Bomb’ has made headlines again just three weeks later – this time accused of operating a methamphetamine business.

Jessica Dawn Killian, 32, was being driven to hospital in Gaston County, North Carolina, by her boyfriend on January 1 – but the couple did not make it in time.

Killian was forced to give birth to her fourth child in the passenger seat of the speeding car.

Baby Atom Bomb Sain not only gained attention for his unusual name, but also became the county’s first baby of 2019.

This week Killian was arrested outside a hotel and allegedly found with 36 grams of meth that police say she planned to manufacture, sell and deliver.

Police also claim she was using the same car she gave birth in to run the operation.

According to local newspaper the Gaston Gazette, Killian has been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine, and maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.

The publication also reported the baby’s father has recently left his job at a local mechanic shop.

It is unclear who has custody of Atom Bomb.
