Search for woman missing in freezing WA bushland

The search is on for a woman missing in Western Australia’s Great Southern region.

Lorjie Tonguia Bautista, 38, was last seen near Bluff Knoll, at Stirling Range National Park on Tuesday at 4am.

Ms Bautista is described as olive-skinned, approximately 157cm tall, of slim build with black hair.

Police believe she was last seen wearing a grey jumper, black jacket, blue jeans and red/black runners.

Temperatures in the national park reached as low as 2C between Thursday night and Friday morning, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

Concerns are held for her welfare and anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 131 444.

Police will continue searching for her on Friday.
