Winners of $30 million Oz Lotto jackpot revealed
The lucky winners of Tuesday night’s $30 million Oz Lotto jackpot have been revealed to be a couple from Perth, who said they were stunned by the news of their massive win.
The couple, who Lotterywest described as “cool, calm and collected”, held the only winning Division One ticket, securing the entire prize pool.
“We’ve had a sleepless night and are still getting our heads around it all,” they told Lotterywest.
The massive jackpot is Western Australia’s biggest lotto prize since March 2016.
Eight Oz Lotto players won a share of the Division Two prize of $400,569.60, while thousands of others took home winnings ranging between $17 and $5500.
Last month, a US Powerball player was the sole Division One winner of a whopping $A941 million jackpot.
The enormous jackpot began swelling in September last year, meaning it’s taken about five months for someone to scoop the prize.
