Aussie entertainer cops backlash over video of him tormenting his girlfriend

A self-described Australian ‘entertainer’ is on the receiving end of an online backlash over a video many say shows him abusing his glamour model girlfriend.

The video by a man called ‘Shammi’ shows him breaking eggs on his girlfriend Sarah Reay-Young’s head, shoving her into strangers, pushing her into the dirt, and dunking her into a river.

She appears to take the ‘pranks’ in stride and (sometimes) with good humour.

But that hasn’t stopped some internet-users declaring Shammi ‘Australia’s biggest a—hole.

The video has received more than 200,000 shares on Facebook but has also been picked up by other websites, receiving hundreds of thousands of views.

In one particularly controversial scene, Shammi asks Reay-Young “why the f--- are you wearing work boots” before shoving her into bushes saying “do some gardening”.

For her part, Reay-Young has defended her boyfriends clip.

Such a gentleman isn't he, thanks bae, love you,” she wrote on her page.

“It's all fun and games people... besides wait until its his turn, pay backs a b---h, love you babe.”
Viewers on Shammi’s Facebook page were less forgiving.

"A girl that can tolerate abuse disguised as a joke" is what that basically translates to. if a dude pushed me into the dirt he'd be eating his teeth,” one viewer wrote.

Another said Shammi risked seriously hurting the young woman “if she smacks her face against the floor, pavement, glass windows in the car etc.”

“She is your girlfriend treat her with respect and stop being a d--- slamming her to the floor. D---head.
