Tokyo Holds First Nuclear Missile Drill Amid North Korea Threat

Tokyo held its first nuclear missile drill on Monday, January 22, amid ongoing threat from North Korea.

This video shared on the Facebook of Akira Fujii, a politician representing Fuchu city in the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, shows participants in “drill” vests waiting outside the Bunkyo Civic Center before they are told to move when a siren wails.

Around 350 people took part in the drill, whch was also conducted at the Tokyo Dome City amusement park, Tokyo’s Korakuen Station and Kasuga Station, according to Japanese newspaper Sankei Shimbun. Credit: Akira Fujii via Storyful
