US woman called out for 'disrespectful' Bunnings sausage sizzle

A US woman has been called out by Aussies after sharing a video of her first experience at a Bunnings sausage sizzle.

Sophia, who goes by @sophiainsydney on the app, shared a video of how she'd finally tried a Bunnings snag after being told she needed to by her Aussie followers.

However, things didn't go as expected when she shared the video, with many slamming her over one detail that some have described as "illegal".

"Alright, you guys have been telling me to get a sausage sizzle for the past few years," she said.

"So this is my first sausage sizzle. Honestly, the Costco hot dog is so much better than this - but whatever, I gave it a try," she said, sounding a little bored.

After sharing the video, TikTok users unleashed on her, horrified to see she had been given two slices of bread for one sausage.

Many joked that it was "unAustralian" to eat a Bunnings sausage with more than one slice of bread.

"The D I S R E S P E C T. Instant deportation, no remorse," one user wrote.

"How the heck were you eating it. Lol you always eat it with one piece of bread not two," another pointed out.

"I'm telling my therapist about what you just did," a third joked.

"Take Sydney out of your username right now," a fourth added.

"As a country, we expect an apology vid right the hell now," another angrily added.

"Doesn't eat it right and disrespects it, [shaking my head]," someone else said.

"The audacity 😭," one person added.

"Two slices of bread, that's illegal," another joked.

Others thought it was "disrespectful" of whoever sold Sophia the sausage that way.

"Which Bunnings is serving snags with 2 slices of bread. I’m calling the police," someone else wrote.

"Straight to jail," another agreed, while one user added, "It’s a sausage not a burger. Take a long hard look at the crime you have committed."

Sophie also hit back at the haters, writing, "Guys this is how they gave it to me in Gladesville 😩😩😩 it would have better proportions by far if it was one piece of bread!"
