Two snakes lurk in emptied pond - but can you see where?

Two snakes have been found lurking in an emptied pond in Brisbane, but can you spot them?

Snake Catchers Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan & Gold Coast’s Jasmine Zeleny was called out to a home in Pullenvale, in Brisbane’s western suburbs, on Tuesday.

“A lady was renovating a house before selling it,” she told Yahoo7.

“She was worried about two snakes being caught in an empty water pond.”

Ms Zeleny added it was 38C on Tuesday, but she managed to easily relocate the snakes.

“They were two carpet python hatchlings,” she said.

“They were adorable.”

As for where they are in the photo, the pair are coiled up together in the top left corner of the pond.

In December, a tree snake on the Sunshine Coast was photographed hiding in the kitchen.

The serpent was so good at hiding it had many people wondering if they needed glasses.

In October, a yellow faced whip snake was pictured hiding in a garden in Queensland’s South Burnett Region.

Snake Catcher Christian Andersen warned people to be cautious around these “cheetahs of the snake world,” known for their incredible speed.

He was called to the scene by a terrified customer who thought it was a dangerous brown snake.

“It was a yellow faced whip snake going just by the scales alone,” Mr Andersen told Yahoo7.
