Tribute to 'fun-loving' grandad who dies in crash
A motorcyclist who died in a crash has been described as a "fun-loving" grandad who looked forward to spending time with his family.
Suffolk Police were called to reports of a collision, which involved two motorbikes, on 19 May at 12:50 BST in Acton.
Kevin Findlay, 63, from Dedham in Essex, died at the scene in Waldringfield Road at the junction with Tentree Road.
His family said he was passionate about motorcycles and "although he left us too soon it was while doing something he loved".
In a tribute, his family said: "He always had time to be the archetypical fun-loving grandad and looked forward to having all the grandchildren around. They will remember great times including summer barbeques when he created waterslides in the garden.
"He loved to see the joy on their faces and hear their laughter.
"A passion that Kevin had throughout his life was motorbiking, he loved his motorbikes. We take comfort knowing that although he left us too soon it was while doing something he loved.
"We all will find strength and comfort in the memories of the wonderful man he was."
The two motorcycles involved in the crash were a black BMW and a Ducati.
The other motorcyclist involved, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital and discharged two days later.
Officers appealed for witnesses to contact the force quoting "37/27838/24".
