The toddler was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene and was then taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital, where she died.

The 40-year-old man who was driving the car at the time of the accident was treated at the scene for shock and was then taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established and police are investigating the circumstances around the incident.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
