Tourist hurt in Kimberley crash

An Irish tourist has been flown to Perth with serious injuries after a car rollover in the Kimberley.

The 25-year-old was travelling with three others on the Tanami Road outside of Halls Creek, 684km East of Broome, when their car rolled several times just after 11am yesterday.

Police believe the 24-year-old driver lost control of the car as they travelled north.

The 25-year-old suffered serious head and spinal injuries, while the two female passengers sitting in the back seat suffered fractures.

All three were taken to Halls Creek Hospital, before being flown to Perth for further treatment last night.
