Dumb thief forgot about security video
Police hope someone will recognise a man who robbed a safe at the Marmion Angling and Aquatic Club while a worker was busy filling fridges.
The thief seized his opportunity to get inside when the employee left the door unlocked while stocking drinks at the West Coast Drive premises just before Christmas last year.
He tried to hide his face by pulling is shirt over his head, but then didn't bother and wandered through the premises, his every move caught by security cameras.
The man walked to a safe kept inside, stole some money and walked back out the unlocked door.
Police are looking for a man with tanned complexion, a solid build and shaved black hair.
He was wearing a navy blue t-shirt with white writing on the front, blue jeans and red sneakers.
The incident happened about 7.30am on Tuesday, December 23.
