Search for hiker in Porongurups
The search for a missing hiker has resumed in the Porongurup National Park, near Mount Barker.
Emidio Demasi, 48, had been walking with a group on Sunday when they realised he was missing about 4pm.
Police searched into the night and planned to resume at 6am this morning.
Officers from Mt Barker and Albany police are involved in the operation.
It is understood Mr Demasi - known as Ed - had food and water and was carrying a GPS.
Anyone with any information as to Mr Demasi’s whereabouts are asked to call Police on 131444.
