Reigning NBL champions the Perth Wildcats have bounced back from their midweek loss to the Breakers in New Zealand by recording a 97-76 win over the Adelaide 36ers at Perth Arena today.

A 31-point final quarter from the Wildcats secured the result as the Cats posted their biggest score of the season so far.

Drake U’u had a career-best game, making a flawless seven of seven from the field including five three-pointers for his 20 points.

Matt Knight bagged 16 points and an equal career-high 16 rebounds, while DeAndre Daniels scored 17 to go with eight boards.

Adelaide's Jamar Wilson finished with a game-high 26 points.

“When we move the ball and trust each other on offense, instead of trying to dribble the ball all the time, we can put some good numbers up. It’s the same offense we used last season to win a championship,” Cats coach Trevor Gleeson said.

“It’s just a matter of executing and making sure we’re all on the same page.”

The Wildcats now head to Sydney where they meet the Kings on Thursday.
