The Sean Pollard Appeal is $100,000 better-off following a weekend of fundraising organised by the South Bunbury Football Club.

Money from Friday night's Auction for Polly and Saturday's Concert for Polly went to shark attack victim Sean Pollard.

The Auction for Polly had more than 50 donated items, including a stay at a Port Douglas villa which went for $5000.

Football club president Jeff Hayres said the auction night alone raised more than $50,000.

"The generosity displayed by that room of people was incredible," he said.

"The way South Bunbury members, businesses and just the general public got around and supported Polly was unbelievable."

Mr Pollard, who was at both events, was presented with a cheque.

"The look on Polly's face was priceless - he was so grateful and blown away by the support," he said.

The rescuers who helped Mr Pollard when he was attacked while surfing at Wylie Bay last year were honoured with life membership to the South Bunbury Football Club at the concert.

"Those guys being honoured and seeing Polly get on the stage and thank everyone were probably the highlights of my weekend," Mr Hayres said.

He also thanked the community for their donations to the auction night and support at both events.
