An unclaimed winning $2.2 million lotto ticket is waiting to be claimed in Busselton.

The ticket for the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw was sold at Busselton Boulevard Lottery Centre. A similar Division1 winner was purchased at Woodlands Newsagency and Lotteries.

Busselton Boulevard Lottery Centre’s Michelle Hanmer said anticipation was surrounding the South West town today, with players checking their tickets in the hope it might be them.

"Lots of people have been coming in but we haven't found our winner yet. It was a very busy week in town last week; Busselton was buzzing and lots of people were picking up a Superdraw ticket," she said.

"We kept saying we're going to do it, we're going to have a big winner and it happened! It's great news."

More than 224,000 other WA players picked up a prize in the Superdraw, including 26 people who collected a $10,057 Division 2 prize.

Lotterywest is still waiting to hear from WA's Division 1 winners.
