Seven hoons had their cars impounded by Goldfields-Esperance police during the holiday road blitz.

The latest seizures include a V8 Holden Commodore allegedly driven by a 19-year-old woman at 164km/h in a 110km/h zone on the Coolgardie-Esperance Highway.

Police stopped the P-plater on Sunday on her way to Esperance about 15km south of the Kambalda turnoff.

The car belonged to the passenger, a 17-year-old male, who only has a learner’s permit.

The vehicle has been impounded for 28 days and the driver has been charged with reckless driving.
