Lions Club of Geraldton is calling on the community to save the club from extinction.

A new catering van and shed are desperately required to replace the current van, purchased secondhand in 1983.

The club needs to raise $100,000 to continue supporting community events and fundraising for charitable organisations and people in need.

President Brian Taylor said donations large and small would be greatly appreciated and urged individuals and companies to dig deep for the cause.
