Twigley ties knot with racy wedding

Rebecca Judd's younger sister Kate Twigley tied the knot with former WAFL player Mathew Seal in a fairytale ceremony in Melbourne yesterday.

The WA couple flew to Victoria earlier this week before their big day and exchanged vows in the early evening at St Kilda beachside venue The Deck, which is part of The Prince Hotel.

Twigley, 29, looked stunning in an elaborate gown - featuring lace applique, mesh inserts, sculptured tailoring and a sweeping train - created by J'Aton Couture, the same design house that made her elder sister's famous wedding dress.

TV personality Judd stood by the blonde's side as maid of honour in a black mesh dress that complemented the bridal gown, while three-year-old Oscar, her son with husband AFL star Chris Judd, was pageboy.

The Judds' eight-month-old daughter Billie was also dressed up for the event in her very first J'Aton dress.

The sisters and the other bridesmaids spent the day getting ready at the Judd family home in Melbourne.

In Instagram snaps captured by family and friends at the ceremony, the newly married couple were pictured grinning from ear-to-ear under rows of festooned lights.

Seal popped the question to Twigley on the morning of the Melbourne Cup last year and the duo planned their wedding celebrations to coincide with the Spring Racing Carnival.

A wedding website in Seal and Twigley's names encouraged guests to snap up tickets to Derby Day on Saturday, and the couple are also expected to stay on in Victoria for the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday.

Twigley previously told AAA her elder sister had been helping her plan the finer details for the destination wedding.

"Bec has given me lots of tips, she's great. She has quite a few contacts in Melbourne, so she is getting all the right people to help make it the best day possible."

She said she originally wanted a small wedding but it quickly became a large affair.

"By the time you start doing your numbers and working out exactly what you want, it blows out and it's bigger than Ben Hur," Twigley said.
