British model *Cara Delevingne *has accused the paparazzi of acting like assassins. The 21-year-old model and actress was snapped kissing her girlfriend *Michelle Rodriguez *, 35, in Miami and the pictures quickly made their way online.

Delevingne has now hit out at photographers in a Twitter rant, citing Britain's *Princess Diana *'s death in 1997 as a warning.

The British royal was killed when the car in which she was a passenger was pursued by paparazzi and crashed in Paris.

"I really think it's disgusting that Paris is the only place where it is illegal for paps to follow you around," Delevingne said on Twitter.

"It actually took someone losing their life! Diana, an inspirational woman, and then it changed but they still won't change it in London!

"It's horrible! How many people have to get hurt or even killed to realise that it's not right?"

Delevingne's celebrity has risen dramatically in the past year after she walked for luxury brands including Chanel.

Her high-profile romance with Fast & Furious star Rodriguez, above, has seen her garnering more headlines than usual.
