Mrs Judd revels in parenthood

At the Brownlow Medal back in 2004, a fresh-faced Rebecca Judd, nee Twigley, turned heads on national television when she stepped on to the red carpet wearing a sleek and daring red dress by Perth designer Ruth Tarvydas. Fast forward nearly a decade and life is very different for the 30-year-old.

Now a doting mother to son Oscar Dylan, who turns two in July, Judd has embraced motherhood with open arms.

"Being a parent is awesome. Oscar has just been incredible," she told New Idea magazine, out today, in which she and Oscar had their first ever photo shoot together.

"I've loved seeing his personality develop - even though sometimes it's a little bit of a devil personality. But he's an angel 90 per cent of the time so it's all good!"

Despite also being a model, TV presenter and WAG, being a mother comes first for the brunette stunner.

She also revealed how she and husband Chris Judd plan on expanding their brood in the near future.

"We're hoping for a few kids, so hopefully we are lucky," she said.

Until then, Judd is preparing for a big year ahead.

This includes stepping up as Nine's weather girl in Melbourne while Livinia Nixon is on maternity leave.

She will juggle this with her hosting role on the Victorian-filmed Postcards travel series and regularly update her popular blog Rebeccajuddloves.com.

"Life is full-on but I'm lucky I've got support from our families," she said.

"Chris has been great - after my first night on the news he sent me a message with three thumbs up. He's really supportive.

"And as long as everyone is happy, and Oscar is happy, we will just keep going because it's working."
