Meeting addresses GRDC funding priorities

A group of 70 farmers attended the GRDC meeting.

A group of 70 farmers from across the State have participated in the first combined meeting of the Grains Research and Development Corporation's regional cropping solutions networks.

Held in Perth , the farming representatives, from areas right across the agricultural zones, came together to hear first-hand about GRDC investments for WA.

GRDC's western panel regional program manager Darren Hughes said the combined meeting had been hailed a success.

"The regional cropping solutions networks have helped GRDC to identify priorities in their areas, and GRDC has invested in these priorities," Mr Hughes said. "Bringing them together allowed them to learn more about the GRDC investment cycle and get a greater understanding of the funding allocations."
