‘Whole Pantry’ author Belle Gibson’s US book launch has been cancelled after publishers got cold feed amid her ‘fake’ cancer scandal.

The Melbourne resident has been accused of faking cancer and withholding thousands of dollars people gave to her charity. Her popular book, which was based on her blog and app, was due to be released in the US next month.

Publishing companies Atria books and Simon & Schuster confirmed the news to media early today.
Atria Books publicity director Paul Olsewski told Fairfax Media that all current US orders would be cancelled.

"Our decision was made upon the failure of the author to provide clarification for numerous allegations concerning her biography and charitable endeavours," said.

News of the US cancellation came just hours after Penguin pulled Gibson’s book from circulation in Australia.

The young mother launched her cook book and smartphone app while promoting the story that she healed herself from multiple cancer with healthy eating and alternative therapies. She has recently admitted she may have been misdiagnosed.

The app was set to made available on the Apple Watch. Tech Giant Apple have remained silent on the issue.

The 23-year-old recently went on a online tirade against the media and followers who have called her claims into question.

She told fans and friends who had publicly doubted her to “make yourself invisible to me”.

"I know the work my company and it's [sic] contents did changed hundreds of thousands for the better," she wrote.
