Saldana confirms twins' names

Z *oe Saldana *kickstarted 2015 by confirming the recent birth of her twin boys as she thanked fans for their good wishes.

The Avatar actor and her artist husband *Marco Perego *, left, * *welcomed the double bundle of joy in Los Angeles on December 8 but she has only now acknowledged the babies' arrivals with a sweet post on social media.

Late last week, the new mum shared a snap on Twitter of two green baby bottles with matching dummies and a pair of miniature soft toys alongside the message: "Happy 2015! Starting our NewYear with a fullhouse. (sic) Our boys are finally here! Thank U 4 all the beautiful wishes!"

She then revealed the boys' names in a similar post on Instagram, writing: "Our boys *CY * and *BOWIE * are finally here. marcoperego and I wanted to thank you for your beautiful wishes and for your patience."

The private couple secretly wed in England in the summer of 2013.

News of her pregnancy first surfaced in July but she confirmed the baby joy only in August.
