Fatal car rollover near Broome
A car crash near Broome has claimed the life of a 35-year-old Derby man.
Just before 2pm yesterday the man was driving a Toyota Prado Landcruiser along Great Northern Highway near Broome.
Five passengers were in the vehicle – two women, a 22-year-old man and a 13-year-old girl.
Police believe the driver lost control before swerving into bushland and rolling the car.
All occupants except one of the women were injured.
The 35-year-old man was taken to Broome Regional Hospital but died a short time later.
The 22-year-old man will be taken to Perth for further medical treatment.
