A bear-faced evil Kidman

Afirst-look image of Nicole Kidman in the big-screen adaption of Paddington Bear as villain Millicent has been released.

In the upcoming flick, the Australian actress plays the evil taxidermist and director of the Museum of Natural History.

Kidman, above, sports a blonde bob and three-piece suit in the image, which shows her leaning over an office desk and staring down the barrel of the camera - presumably looking for the young bear Paddington.

In the background, two workers (perhaps guards at Paddington Station) snooze, unaware of Millicent's presence.

Adapted from the books by Michael Bond, Paddington is voiced by Skyfall's Ben Whishaw (who replaced Colin Firth) and also Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, new Doctor Who Peter Capaldi, Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters.

Paddington is in Australian cinemas from December 11.
