Girl, 2, dies after tractor fall
A two-year-old girl has died after falling from a tractor being driven by her mother in the Pilbara yesterday.
Police are investigating after the toddler allegedly fell from her mother’s lap and was run over by a tractor wheel as the vehicle was being driven on a public dirt road about 4.40pm.
The girl was rushed to Hedland health campus but died from her injuries.
The tragedy happened on Styles Road.
Major crash investigators have flown to Port Hedland this morning.
